On tap at Electric Bicycle, pours a dark amber-tinged brown with a tiny tan head. Aroma has gentle toasted malt, a hint of cocoa powder, and some earthiness. Flavour is lifeless, with toasted malt, dusty dry cocoa powder, and some gritty earthiness. Not remotely convincing as a stout—maybe a session porter at best, but even that’s pushing it. Very lame.

On tap at Electric Bicycle, pours a cloudy bright pinkish red with a small white head. Aroma is pretty jammy, with gentle raspberry jam upfront that mostly covers over the yogurty base. Flavour has more of the yogurty character, with enough jammy raspberry to take away the worst of that lacto expression. Typical cheap fruited kettle sour.

On tap at Electric Bicycle, pours a cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma has some harsh, husky grains and pithiness due to the Belgian yeast—which seems suboptimally fermented—along with toasted grains and straw. Flavour is a little cleaner, with floral notes, light esters, doughy malt, and a touch of spiciness. What comes across more harshly on the nose actually comes across relatively clean on the palate. Finishes fairly dry. Pleasant.

On tap at Electric Bicycle, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma has light grass, unfermented wort, and toasted malt. Flavour is a little better—less of that unfermented wort character—with toasted grains, a hint of grass, and straw. Not nearly enough hops even for a German pils. It’s okay.

5oz pour at brewery. Pours hazy yellow with white head. Aroma has musty lemon peel and dirty pot. Flavour also has some dirty dankness, gentle lemon, some must. Still has the murky insubstantiality of a hazy, but the dank hop expression is actually pretty solid.
