On tap at Dageraad, pours a cloudy bright yellow with a small white head. Nose brings out gentle tart pears, a bit of lime and ginger, and lacto. Flavour combines the lime and pears quite nicely, with perhaps a hint of spice from the ginger, but the ginger isn't really felt directly. There's a light lacto base that provides decent foundation. Nothing complex or overly interesting here, but it's clean and drinkable. Decent.

473mL can, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Nose reveals floral hops, piney hops, alcohol, and a bit of fruitiness. Flavour is rather jumbled and confused, with some resinous hops, piney notes, a bit of stone fruits, alcohol, and a bit of earthy chalkiness. There's little harmony here -- the disparate elements don't blend well. The hops aren't that well dialed in and there's a noticeable alcoholic kick on the finish. Not great.

Very nice black body and good dark beige foam. Nice deep aroma of molasses, motor oil, licorice, soft coffee. Flavour is chewy coffee, chocolate syrup, slight whisky hints. Full yet thin for something like this. Still, hitting some very good notes.

Nice cloudy yellow and good foam. Soft floral hops, not bad, slight lemon juice. Flavour is mellow hops, slight lacto, vague juice notes, a bit dirty. Good carbonation and oiliness. Some nice elements but lacking some character.

Can from High Point, Vancouver
Black colour with compact brown head. Moderate roasted malt character, light coffee, smooth mouthfeel, with medium residual sugar; very light green pepper, and slightly metallic in the finish. Honorable effort.

On tap at Tinhouse, pours an opaque cloudy yellow with a medium white head. Aroma brings out earthy hops, chalky notes, and biscuity malt. Flavour is crisp, with earthy and piney hops, and biscuity malt. Not bad. Definitely doesn't have the chalkiness that a lot of other hazies. Decent.

On tap at Tinhouse, pours black with a small brown head. Aroma brings out bitter roast, some earthy notes and bitter hops. Flavour is very bitter, with lots of bitter earthy hops, roasted malt, and some felt. That felt-like astringency is a little bothersome. It's got a sturdy structure and some nice elements, but also some discernible flaws. Not bad but needs a lot of work.
