Bright amber color, clean. The aroma definitively brings notes of oak, some apple and glue as well. Sweeter than the regular Barley Wine, a bit more of malt depth, but hidden behind a huge boozy note and evident barrel.
Too boozy, but the base beer is better than the regular Barley Wine, I like this more than that.

Dark amber color, hazy. Malt aroma, with light toffee. Lean body, not too strong, with limited sweetness; malt flavor, not as deep as expected, some toffee flavor too, and quite strong bitterness, with medium hop resins. A bit boozy in the end.

Pleasant brew. It doesn’t impress as a Barley Wine.

Cloudy blond color, compact head. Mild orange aroma. Lean body with light residual sweetness; not much malt depth, not much hop quality, just the bitterness and some resins, no fruits.
Powerful beer, not flawed, but as an IIPA not really achieved; I appreciate that they targeted an blond IIPA though. Keep working on it.

Black color. Sourdough aroma. Sour rye bread flavor, lean mouthfeel, light residual sweetness. No saltiness, no squid ink ;-)

Dark red-amber color. Aroma of dry caramel and apples, mild. Dusty and dull malt flavor, correct bitterness, with no hop quality, and traces of apples (acetaldehyde?).
Not very pleasant, possibly flawed.

Hazy dark blond color. Nice hop aroma, it has some citrus and some tropical fruits. Dry mouthfeel; the malt flavor is dull, quite poor, some paper taster; expected bitterness level, maybe some hop resins, but in general not much hop quality.

Bright amber color. Mellow caramel, not too sweet, with mild fruity esters and low bitterness. Clean. It checks what the Americans think a BdG is. For me, it’s a clean boring Amber Ale.

Cloudy golden color. It smells very cheesy, footy, way beyond the point of being acceptable. Smooth mouthfeel, not much malt flavor, but the main characteristic here is a flavor of cave aged charcuterie (some stuff I used to get in Alpine villages).
Can I drink it? Probably yes (if I think I’m drinking moldy cheese or charcuterie). Should this be sold? Probably no.

Blond color, clean. Like another beer I had earlier, smells a bit like freshly cut weeds, like another beer I had earlier, the Brett leaves cheesy/footy flavor traces; the bitterness is not at the level expected for an IPA.
Messy, not a good result, but not too bad.
