330ml can from a Banqiao Taipei Family Mart. Poured a crystal clear golden colour with a very short-lived, frothy white head. The aroma is big gluey malt and hay. The flavour is moderate to light bitter with a smooth, watery, cardboard, herbal, light hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with soft carbonation.

330ml can from a Taipei Family Mart. Poured a hazy yellow golden colour with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is banana and cloves. The flavour it sweet and yeasty, with a smooth, crushed banana, herbal, light spicy palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation. Quite inoffensive. A little too sweet for the style but certainly drinkable.

11/4/2022. Can shared by minutemat, cheers. Pours almost clear pale gold with a small bubbly white head. Aroma of buttered popcorn, yeast, off citrus. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness. Light body, watery, quite fizzy. Sour bread finish. Wow indeed! Not good.

330ml can from National Brewery Centre, Burton on Trent. Wow indeed. Fresh cooked popcorn aroma. Really bizarre taste, popcorn, wheat, bread.. Really not sure what to make of this. Odd.

330ml can @ blackhaddock's beer cave. Pale clear golden yellow, small white foam atop. Really quite a nice kolsch this, nice gentle sweetness to it, oily on the palate, uncomplicated but moreish.

9th March 2022. Mini-tasting with minutemat at my place. Cheers Mat for the 330ml can of this. I still struggle to find any real aroma or flavours from this style of beer (and I've been to Cologne many times in the past, trying to 'get the beer'). Anyway it poured a clean and clear light golden colour and held a white head for a while. Nose and taste all too subtle for me.

Can from Yamaoka. Quite surprised to find a Taiwanese kellerbier. Yeasty, estery, banana, clove, biscuity malt, touch of roastiness. Very hazy orange amber with a low head. Sweet, estery, biscuity, slightly worty, cloves. Light bitterness. Full, smooth body works well. Not as fresh as it could be, and the flavors have weakened, but it certainly is a kellerbier.

can from Yamaoka. Toasty malt, bread, light caramel, soft herbal hops in the nose. Medium amber orange, thick head. Sweet, slightly sugary, caramel, toast, herbal. Decently bitter finish. Slightly heavy. Not terrible, but sweet and one-dimensional.

Can from Yamaoka. Nose is rich caramel malt, dark bread, raisin, herbal, piny hops, a touch of dried cherries. Deep reddish brown color with a low head. Dry and very toasty, caramel, dark chocolate, rye bread, slightly roasty too. Pine, light citrus. Quite roasty for the style. More an amber ale. Not bad.
