Pale gold colour. Bright aroma is earthy and complex. Barrelly accents on the palate. Very good, complex, drinkable cider. I imagine this is their best work to date.

750mL bottle, pours a hazy pale golden blonde with a medium white head. Aroma reveals soft, floral pears, farmhouse notes, and a touch of champagne-like effervescence. Flavour has a nice champagne-like character, tons of pears, moderate sweetness, and moderate carbonation. Good carb and complexity but I’d want less sweetness. Good but the apple version was better.

Bottle pour at Farmhouse Fest 2025, pours a clear pale golden with a large white head. Aroma has lots of wild yeast, champagne-like effervescence, and crisp apple skins. Flavour is complex, with bone dry apple skins and champagne-like effervescence, finishing dry, buggy, and carbonated. Excellent.

On tap at Luppolo. Pours clear light gold. Lots of apple skins, a bit musty, and some champagne-like yeast on the nose. Flavour has apple skins, off-dry, a bit of funk, champagne yeast and effervescence. Nice.

330mL can, pours a cloudy yellowish blonde with a small white head. Aroma is very funky, almost flatulent, with an almost rotting berry character (that’d be the seabuckthorn, I assume), and crisp apple skins. Flavour is dry, modestly tart, and funky, with dry apple skins, plenty of funk, and some tart berries. Much better on the palate than the nose. Well-constructed, with nice complexity. Very good.

355mL can. Pours hazy yellow. Plenty of barnyard funk, apple skins, and some berries on the nose. Flavour is a bit juicier than I was expecting for a dry cider, but certainly not sweet. Nice funk, though not as pungent as the nose. Dry finish. Nice.

Great aroma, nutty and with bright fruit. Nice integration with the base apple. Solid. A little sweetness in the finish rounds it out

A touch of sweetness, a complex apple profile, not bad, a bit honeyish. Overall good.

Bottle sampled at BC Cider Fest 2024, pours a clear pale golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out gentle barnyard funk, above average carb, and champagne-like effervescence. Flavour is sweeter than expected, with above average sweetness for C&G, gentle funk, light acidity, and some barnyard notes. Not as complex as expected, with a sweeter-than-desired finish. Good.
