12oz can at home. No date. yellow cloudy color, small white head. smells exotic fruits, earthy, citric, lime, passionfruit, very nice smell. Medium body, soft carbonation. tastes citric, earthy, lime, some passion fruit, tobacco. finishes lightly bitter with notes of lime, passion fruit and pepper. Overall nice one

Appearance is murky and dull. Not great. Thick head. That nose...lots of cedar. Wood at first, then boughs. The palate is fruity, more cedar, decent bitterness. A bit too much carbonation for the style, and the malt base could use some complexity. But the cedar is why we're here, and the use of it is restrained, lending nuance to the base beer rather than clubbing you over the head. Pretty good - I feel like a stronger base (more like English Strong Ale, 7-8%) would provide a better backdrop for something like cedar, too.

Poured from 473mL can. Hazed gold with full white head. Light tropical hops, feint yeast, okay.

473mL can, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma has plenty of oats, some cocoa nibs, and a touch of roast. Flavour is dry, with oats, light cocoa nibs, gentle roast, and some earthy breadiness. Fairly light and dry but pleasant.

355mL can. Pours a murky mahagony with a beige head. Has some muted berries and a very dull yeast thing going on. Flavour has plenty of red berries, some balsamic. Pretty light on the acidity. Pretty poor Flanders red.

473 ml can. Pours a pale orange/copper with light head that settles quickly. Aromas of lemons, tonka bean, red berry and wheat. Flavors of wood, wheat, tonka beans and a hard to describe red berry vibe (which I guess is coming from the cherries.) Odd, but interesting, and the tonka beans seam to add body.

Poured from 473mL can. Very dark brown with small beige head. Sasparilla, cardamom, light bitter roast. Clashes a bit, but inoffensive. I enjoy the sasparilla quality in this, would just like the bitterness to tone down a touch and add some more body. Above average.

On tap at The Magnet, pours a clear blonde with a medium white head. Aroma is very gentle, with soft jasmine flowers and straw. Flavour is soft, with very subtle jasmine upfront, some straw, and dry bready malt. Pleasant and clean but pretty uninteresting and lacking bite.

473mL can, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Nose is extremely briney and citric, with tons of citric acid, saline, and some chili. Flavour has puckering, with intense citric acid, brine (I guess partly from the oyster shells?), plenty of saline, and just a hint of chili. The citric acid is overwhelming, to the point of detracting from enjoyability. Not a gose of restraint or elegance.

Pale with slight haze. Thin head. Horrible nose. Light quince, but also a weird funk, and some butter. Mellow quince on the palate, but not working for me with that diacetyl.
