Poured from 473mL can. Clear pale blonde with full white head. Bland lager base with thiolized yeast character and some nice berry-like spruce tips. The base is below average, the spruce tips, are the only saving grace, bringing it up to an average beer.

16oz from can shared at home. Red hazy color, small white head. smells cherries, earthy, smoky, spices, herbal, nice and interesting smell. full body, soft carbonation. Tastes cherries, earthy, lightly lactic, herbal, spices, light cocoa nibs, citrux. Finishes lightly dry and light to medium sour with notes of cherries, earthy and citric notes. Nice one, not overly complex, good to drink

Gerry didn't let his can sit long enough. That's because this frothed up big time when I opened and I knew exactly what had happened - brett infection. Now it has a really nice brett IPA aroma, nice floral hops and quality brett b on that. On the palate, it's brett forward, with plenty of bitterness. Muted hop aromatics, but also it seems like a decent amount of malt has been chewed through. It feels a bit yeasty and messy but honestly, this is a solid brett DIPA. Not the first time an accidental brett IPA was pretty good.

Shared at Valhalla tasting. Thinnish bod, med-high carbo. Med sour, med tart, light-low sweet. Med currant, light skins, an acetic touch. Not the most complex, good though, not great though.

Can, thx Adam V! Deep red body, amberish, no head. Odd aroma, caramel, wheaty, saliva, maybe some currant. Dark malty, bit smoky even in the smooth, flat taste, sharp lactic sourness, very low currant presence, just the tartness partly. Okay.

On tap at Île Sauvage. Pours clear blonde with a white head. Lacto on the nose. Flavour is pretty sour, notes of lacto, gentle citrus, a light touch of vinegar. A very uninteresting sour.

On tap at Île Sauvage. Pours a very dark mahagony with a white head. Nice dark fruit character, almost a cinnamon-like dark currant, on the nose. Flavour has plenty of dark currants, moderate to high acidity, and that distinct kettle sour quality. Not bad for a kettle sour.
