A milky yellow ipa with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, sweet fruity biscuit malt with loads of citrusy floral hops, grapefruit pulp, light tropical fruits, very nice and smooth. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity biscuit malt with resinous floral hops, citrus pulp, light papaya, very nice. On tap at brewery.

On cask last Friday. Pours a cloudy golden colour with a bubbly off-white head that disappears quickly leaving minimal lace. The taste shows the sourness, but blended with a slight bitterness of the grapefruit. Hints of salt lingers on the tongue, but no smokiness. Very mild tart mouthfeel, but still crisp and refreshing. Aromas of oranges and grapefruits. Kind of like a gose, but with a little more alcohol. Still goes down nicely.

Enjoyed on tap with nitro and chocolate shavings this week when it came out. Now, having from the bottle. Pours a hazy, deep amber colour with light beige frothy head, good retention and some patchy lacing. Chocolate malt nose with coffee hints. The taste was sweeter on tap with the real chocolate. Here, it is showing some strong bitterness in the finish, for a brown ale. Still, some mild sweetness, nuttiness and the coffee is even milder. Enough going on to keep it interesting. Nice to have a local coffee used as well - fresh from a block away.

Had on tap at the brewery on its first night released, and tonight in a bottle at home. Hazy peach-pink colour with an off-white foamy head, average stay and some light bubbly-foamy ring. Sour aromas balanced by the sweetness of the cherry juice and other fruitiness. The taste shows a little better this fruity juice, with the sourness in the finish and yeast lingering. Not my favourite as the yeast tartiness kind of kills it for me. Also lingers a little too long.

750mL bottle, pours a murky pink with a tiny white head. Aroma brings out pithy black currant, some barrels, and light oak. Flavour is quite pith, with a really nice bright black currant character, wild yeast, and oak. Lovely fruit character. Excellent.

Tasting at Matt's
Murky pale blond colour. Balanced citru and acidity, with a touch of vanilla.
I don't care for the vanilla, it's almost a creamsicle, but it's not bad.
