South East Brewing Company are the proud makers of Golden Axe Cider, KAIJU! Beer, and Coaster Beer.

Nat and Callum Reeves are the duo behind KAIJU! Beer and Golden Axe Cider. After releasing a Double IPA back in 2013 that not only got a lot of attention, but single handedly caused a statewide shortage of Simcoe hops, the brothers quickly established themselves as the original hopmasters. Since then, they have been very busy growing the KAIJU! Beer range of hop-driven beers, all made at the brewery in Dandenong South, Victoria.

Pours gold, large white head.
Nose shows lemon, spicy and grassy hops along with a soft sweet biscuity malt note.
Flavours include more grassy hops, herbal hops, and bit of clean malt. A bit of tropical fruit follows through afterwards.

Flavours include more heavy dank pine, resinous hops, gentle clean malt. Very clean. Aggressive bitterness.

Can. Very clear gold with a cm of white head. Shyish lemony aroma with hints of tropical fruit, crackers. More vibrant taste with crackery malt behind citrus, pepper, tropical fruit and a little pine before a fairly bitter finish. Pretty good.

Can. Hazy orange, 2cm white head lasts well. Aroma of mango, pineapple, grapefruit, some lychee, light bread. Leanish but soft with lots of tropical fruit before a few oniony herbal notes creep in at the fairly bitter end. Pretty good.

Can from Beerdome. Aroma is fruity hops with citrus, pineapple, and notes of other tropical fruits. Flavour is light sweet and moderate to medium bitter. Body is medium. Crisp and refreshing with citrussy and mild tropical hops.

Can. Pale gold, white head. Aroma of light crackers, herbal, citrus (not v juicy mandarins) and spicy notes. Light bodied, clean with just a hint of richness. Fruity and herbal but bitterness is pretty low. Refreshing.
