Description
We are two brothers that grew up in Calgary, loving comic books, science fiction and video games. We have merged our childhood passions with our adult passion for making (and drinking) incredible beer - so we created a brewery that celebrates the nerdier side of life.

Our art is comic inspired, our beer names are nerdy and we've surrounded ourselves with great people who will debate exactly how Squirrel Girl defeated Galactus.

Zero Issue Brewing officially launched on July 1, 2017 and is now serving up many great beers. Come join us for a pint in our taproom - we'd love to see you!

473ml can at The Keg in Lethbridge. Pours a clear gold with a medium, frothy, short lived, white head that laces. Sweet aroma of grainy malt, apple and floral hops. Sweet flavour of grainy malt, apple and floral hops with a crisp, dry, mild bitter finish. Light body with a watery texture and average carbonation. A clean, easy drinking, refreshing Kolsch. Not bad.

From my wife: pours pale gold with a large white head. Aroma is grassy, bread, and the like. Easy to drink. Somewhat bitter. Solid enough.

Tasting at Matt's, crowler
Dark brown color. Aroma of roasted malt. Roasted malt flavor, too high acidity, combined with relative weak body, makes of this a sour stout rather than a good Black IPA. Earthy.

Crowler, pours a deep dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma is harsh, with earthy rye notes, piney hops and roasted malt. Flavour is bitter and roasty, with toasted / roasted malt and piney hops. Nice balance, with an earthy, bitter, roasty finish. Very nice.

Cloudy, murky medium brown with a bubbly head. There's some nice leafy hops with a slight mushroomy note, and some chocolatey notes. Really bitter. Touch yeasty, certainly some mellow chocolate/cocoa notes, and then leafy, tobaccoey hops. Kind of rustic, but pretty good.
