Black color. The aroma is mild, some doughy smell. Lean mouthfeel, weak, some dark malts without the depth of a Stout, the cold brew comes through barely as dirty pond water. Very messy and rather unpleasant.

Black color. A good combination of roasted malts and resiny hops; dry, not too strong, with prominent roastiness. Not difficult to brew a Black IPA, this is ok, mid of the pack.

Black color, tan creamy head. Roasty; "Dry" is a synonym for "thin" and that's what you get. Metallic finish, a bit ashy.
Underwhelming.

Flavour is bold, with lots of English bready malt, light toasted caramel and earthy English hops underneath. Robust and nicely balanced. Quite authentic. Pretty nice stuff.

On tap at Silver Valley, pours a deep dark mahogany with a small beige head. Aroma brings out toasted caramel and light bready malt. Flavour is definitely not right, bringing out some tartness that definitely should be there, and toasted caramel bready malt underneath. This is off and needs fixing.

Draft - Not much of a nose. Clear dark gold with a decent white head. Sweet caramel malts and a touch of bitterness in the finish.
