473ml can. Pours a slightly hazy copper amber with a medium, frothy, long lasting, white head that leaves soapy curtains of lace. Aroma of caramel malt, orange zest, apricot and floral hops. Sweet flavour of biscuity pale malt, grapefruit, pear and pine resin in a dry, bitter finish. Medium body with an oily texture and average carbonation. A solid Old Skool Wastie.

Gold, slight haze, medium head. Light grainy malts, low bitterness, and that brings out even more malt sweetness. But that sort of husky/grainy thing isn’t ideal. It’s closer to Peroni than Tipopils, so I'm wondering if they understood the assignment.

Dark amber, thick head. Right on the nose bubblegum, which makes zero sense in a lager. Wow. Okay. On the palate some caramel and toast but yeah this is very sweet and that bubblegummy note is still there and still unpleasant. Butter when it warms too? Ok what clusterfuck is this?

Amber-brown colour. Thin head. Nice malty aroma although some phenols in there - fermented a little warm? Yeah, it’s sticky sweet and that light phenol - bubblegum on the palate - that’s a ferm too high, then stuck. The malts are okay but I’m also thinking this needs a longer boil to extract as much richness as possible, then slow and low fermentation. Instead of releasing in November I’d brew this in November and release in February.

Pale gold, slight haze. Thick head. Is a wit? Has some bitterness and a mellow fruity hops, and a lean pale malt backdrop.
