Draft at Blue Smoke, Joon Chiat, Singapore. Poured an unclear dark brown colour with a short-lived, frothy off-white head. The aroma is roasty malt and chocolate. The flavour is moderate sweet and liqourice bitter, with a smooth, rich, roasty, biscuit, bready, light liqourice bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. There are surprising similarities between this and the Lychee Pale Ale would you believe! Maybe they used the same yeast??

Draft at Blue Smoke, Joon Chiat, Singapore. Poured a hazy golden orange colour with a short-lived, frothy white head. The aroma is big overpowering lychee and biscuit dough. The flavour is light sour, with a smooth, herbal, lychee, light floral, bready palate. Medium to light bodied with soft carbonation. Actually rather interesting when I never expected it to be!
