Des noisettes et du caramel légèrement brulé, enrobé d’un alcool bien présent nous donne un olfactif assez puissant. Brune aux reflets rubis et bien limpide. La mousse est pétillante et éphémère. En bouche, c’est caramélisé avec un alcool dominant. Caramel fondant, accents de noisettes, chocolat sucré, léger miel et alcool composent la palette gustative. Les esters rappellent la cerise au marasquin. Des houblons épicés et poivrés complètent le tout. Le corps est ample et la carbonatation piquante. L’alcool se substitue à l’amertume dans cette Brown Ale Américaine aux houblons bien en sourdine. L’apport malté est honorable et sucré. Un houblonnage plus intense et diversifié aurait été apprécié. (473ml can from Metro Ferland Centre-Ville, Quebec City) Drank from the can so don't know what it looked like. Notes of fairly strong ginger and moderate juniper and lemon peel, moderately tart lactic citrusy base with light cereal presence, herbal notes from coriander supplement the juniper, somewhat floral, light to moderate salinity, dry finish with ginger, lemon and some potpourri, bittering herbal quality, crisp, a little pepperiness from the ginger into the aftertaste. Light body, average carbonation. Pretty fun and refreshing adjunct gose, I do get the cocktail tribute somewhat but most importantly it was an enjoyable but interesting party beer.

Oh wow, a dark Gose! Yep, dark brown colour with some amber-ruby highlights. The head is creamy, light-beige, long lasting and leaving lots of lacing. Roasted malt base aromas with some sourness, so lots of lemon and some saltiness. The lemon juice appears over the burnt barley, and barely hints of basil (which I was hoping to be strong - maybe beer is not as fresh). A touch of coffee lingers with the sour and salt notes. A nice different touch on the Gose, and was not expecting dark grains with the lemon and basil.

Quite dark in colour with ruby highlights, a fizzy, frothy deep red with pink hue head that dissipates quickly, leaving no lacing. A roasted malt base withs some caramel notes and the raspberries being upfront. Reminds me of some red wines. The taste has the same going one, milder, less sweet. A little sourness to blend this. A nice raspberry sour beer with a good roasted male base and some caramel malts balancing things.

473mL can, pours a deep dark mahogany brown with a small beige head. Aroma is gentle, with toasted bread crusts and a hint of dry caramel. Flavour is very earthy, with lots of soil and earthy bready malt. Lots of earthy bread crusts and soil on the finish. Not great.

473mL can, pours black with a medium tan head. Aroma reveals moderate roasted malt upfront, a hint of dark fruits, and gentle sweetness. Flavour does sort of seem more like a black lager than a stout, with very lowly roasted malt, some dark fruits, dry bread, and a touch of black liquorice. Fruity bready finish that has decent structure. Unusual but solid enough.

Brown colour with ruby-amber highlights, a big creamy-frothy warm-beige head, very long stay and full thick lacing. Cacao aromas blending with the roasted malt base, and hints of spiciness, but more vanilla. The habanero apprears in the taste, much, much more. Very nice spicy warming that lingers. The chocolate and roasted barley is still present in the background. I get a tad bubblegum in this as well, which just sweeten things a bit. Not as thick mouthfeel as expected, and the drying finish is well done. A very nice peppery, warming, spicy, dry Imperial Stout that is fine as the snow stays.
