Un chaleureux Bourbon domine un olfactif malté sucré offrant des accents de sucre d’orge, de vanille, de mélasse, de noisettes, de café, ainsi qu’un fond de boisé. Un filet de mousse se dépose et disparait rapidement sur le liquide noir et opaque. Entrée de bouche chaleureuse, chocolatée, vanillée avec un fond de noisettes et de boisé. De corps riche et onctueux elle offre des saveurs complexes de malts sucrés, d’adjuvants bien présents et de houblons subtilement terreux et épicés. Tåkete lys brun med hvitt skum. Lukter malt, urter og honning, Mildt karbonert. smaker malt, honning, noe sitrus. Lett bitter avslutning.

Mi2 på Cardinal 9.12. ble en veritabel julekalender, ikke minst takket være Luis' presentasjon av canadiske øl, alle på 0,473 bokser, unntatt denne som var på 0,33: brunsvart med ok skum. Lyse sjokolader, hasselnøtter, havrekjeks og ikke helt modne bjørnebær. Lyse sjokolader i avslutningen. Overraskende slank og dertil farlig lett å helle innpå.
