A pretty clean, golden-amber colour with a warm off-white head, decent stay and some solid, creamyish lacing. A cereal malt base with a touch of caramel one and some mild hops. The hops really step up in the taste, over the cereal notes. Some nice dry end with decent bitterness. A nice APA with good drinkability and good hoppiness for the style.

Pours a dark colour, almost black with ruby highlights, a fizzy mocha-coloured head that disappears rather quickly, leaving no lace. Getting a bit of infection with the weird sourness, but a roasted malt base, but not much of the rest. The chocolate comes out a little more in the taste, and the infection seems to calm down a little. Biscuit tart left on the tongue. A tad of nuttiness from the macadams. Not bad, but was not expecting that infected touch.
