Bottle - Chocolate, chili peppers, roasted something... Deep amber with an off white head. Nice chocolate again tasting the chili and a weird roasted flavor, almost savory but finishes sweet. Rich body and a decent aftertaste. So very odd and different. I may have this again in a group to discuss, but more as a dissection than enjoyment.

Bottle - Grapefruit, malts and resin on the nose. Clear copper with a decent medium head. Lots of resin, bitter with a sweet and dry finish. None of the pine or grapefruit I would expect. Very average.

Bottle from Brewery Creek, Vancouver
Dark amber color, clean, with medium sized compact head. It has mild aroma of caramel and Christmas spices, some sweet gingerbread. The mouthfeel is round, quite sweet, with caramel flavor and mild spices (cinnamon, maybe some nutmeg); the bitterness is relatively low.
It’s correctly brewed, flawless, but I would prefer less Winter and more Warmer (less spice, more malt character).

650 ml bottle. Pours a dark clear mahogany with little head. Aromas or biscuit, grass, and malt. Flavors of biscuit, raisins, and light spice. Some spicy heat to finish, though could be the alcohol making a late appearance.

650 ml bottle. Pours a clear amber with medium head that dissipates quickly. Aromas of light grapefruit, pine, and malt. Flavor is very much the same with the addition of dusty grass/hay. Light bitter finish. Very well balanced. Clean and easy to drink.
