Cask, gravity dispense at Merton Summer Beer Festival July 18th and 19th 2008 (actually had this on the Thursday 17th) Poured mid/warm golden with white head. Blackberry was what shone through in the aroma and this was also was very noticeable in the mouth along with a nice fresh crispness and decent fruity body, I rather liked this but felt that more than a pint and it could become a bit wearing and too sweet, still interesting and rather nice.

(Cask at White House Hotel pub, Peel, on 2008-07-05) Pale yellow. Clear. Small bubbly head. Lightly hops and malts in nose. Medium and dry palate. Some hops, lightly malts and grass in taste. Quite ok attempt to brew an APA .

Cask-conditioned at The Royal Oak, Bath 5/7/08. Golden coloured with a slight white head. Citrus and lemon grass aroma. Flavour was dominated by mandarin oranges with some lemon hops, far eastern spice and a decent dry finish. Unusual - works as a one-off, but certainly not a session beer.

Cask at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Clear golden. Appley grassy nose. Medium sweet with rounded mouthfeel and light body. Lightly soapy with notes of vanilla and orange. Fairly low bitterness. A very quaffable easy going ale with an unfortunate touch of apples.

Cask at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Cllear deep golden. Floral minerally nose. Sweetish and light body. Fruity with soft mouthfeel. A good amounts of floral orangey hops dries it out and leads to a a finish with long bitterness with some resin and more minerals. A good quencher.

[cask, Back of Beyond, Reading] Supposedly a wheat beer; very pale and completely clear. Taste is mouth-wrinklingly bitter. Soon a strong citrus sharpness emerges, but without any of the associated citrus flavours. Bitterness dominates in the aftertaste. Like no other wheat beer I’ve tasted - because generally I like wheat beers, and I hated this.

Cask, Dee Hotel, West Kirby. Golden, with a slight haze and a thin white head. Floral, cascade hop aroma (as you might expect) Flavour is hoppy again, with some grass and orange. Decent lingering hop bitterness in the finish. A good take on an APA.

Cask handpull at Ship & Mitre, Liverpool. Orange/gold with thin beige head. Dusty/blackberry aroma. Acidic blackberry in mouth, juicy sharp blackberry on finish. Does exactly what it says on the tin. Very tasty and I love the fruit.
