Draft - Nitro - Dark Roast and Oatmeal. Jet black brown with a rich beige head. Dark and roasty with some bitter chocolate and a long finish. Nitro or oatmeal don’t translate to the perfect mouthfeel though.

This Bruin poured a cloudy medium amber with a creamy, off white head. Nice lacing. Scents include malt, grass/floral hops and maybe some cooked veggies? First swig was smooth and a little bitter. Flavours of grass, tea and a little bread. Finish is smooth with a nice hop level and a light tea flavour lingering.

Can in Toronto, 9th July 18. Pours an amber beer. Aroma is citrus. Taste is bitter citrus, more or a classic west coast IPA. Not bad.

Pours a clear, very light yellow colour with a frothy white cap, decent retention and foamy lacing. Malty nose at first, with some sweetness coming along and sharp, almost medicinal hops. The taste is pretty mild on the malt side, and even the hops are low. At least some spiciness comes in the finish. Some of the sweetness from the malts appear to quite this down. Too bad.
