Bottled, 2014 series bottle nr 2286, BB 6/2024, bottled at De Troch at 6% ABV. Almost clear golden color, medium rocky head. Aroma of funky lambic, oak wood, citric tartness. Medium citric acid and lactic acid sourness, slight grainy notes, oak wood dryness. Great balance, decent complexity. Really enjoying this one. Guess i should drink lambic and geuze more often.

Heller, intensiv nass hopfiger Antrunk. Bitterer Mittelteil, eher trocken, mittelstarke Würzigkeit. Deutlich grasig, intensiv. 10/10/9/10//10

330ml bottle from 2016 craft beer advent calendar. Pours a hazy orange-copper with a huge, frothy, long lasting, off-white head that leaves curtains of lace. Sweet fruity aroma of orange, grapefruit, pineapple, mango, floral hops, pine and caramel malt. Sweet flavour of caramel malt, peach, mango, orange, grapefruit, pineapple and pine with a dry, bitter, hop resin finish. Medium body with an oily texture and soft carbonation. Excellent, this beer exceeded my expectations. The high ABV was well hidden.

Bottle (from beernavigator). Pours dark amber with beigeish head. The head stays. Aroma is intense fruity, citrus, pineapple, mango, caramel. Flavor is sweet and bitter, caramel, malt, citrus. Finish is intense dry-grapefruit bitter. Feels bit harsh, so drinkability isn’t that good. Overall: good.

Bottle shared with BDomue and Lucas @ Lucas’ bourbon tasting. Hazy pale orange color, small off-white head. Tried side by side with the Cantillon Gueuze. Aroma is less good than the Cantillon I’d say, a bit more rough, less round and less fruity. Flavor though is petty nice though: nice round slightly sourish fruity flavor with some funk. Awesome flavor. Really nice. Aroma gets better too after warming up a bit. Lovely beer.

Flaska från Etre Gourmete drucken med ölföreningen. Smak och doft av plommonkärnor, jäst, syrliga äpplen, citrus, ladugård, hö med toner av träfat. Fin syrlighet, lagom sötma, halvtorr, lena rena smaker, ett hantverk. Mycket gott!

Golden color with a huge white head, good retention. Aroma is yeasty with floral notes. Flavor is light bittery, citrus hints with a high presence of yeast. High carbonation.

Flaska från Etre Gourmete drucken med ölföreningen. En klassisk gueuze. Inte så vass syra utan ganska rund och mjuk men tydlig syra med citrus och syrlig äpplen, fin fatkaraktär, medelfunkig och halvtorr. En riktigt bra gueuze.

Piekna piana, kremowa i biala bardzo trwala, kolor metny brazowo herbaciany. Pachnie orzechami, ciastem marchewkowym, melasa i olejkiem do opalania, takie dziwne skojarzenie miałem. Nie mniej w smaku to istna baba chmielowa, mocna gorycz polaczona z rozgrzewajaca moca alkoholu długo zalegala gleboko w gardle, ale alkohol nie przeszkadzal, szlachetny był nawet. Do wytrawności także dolaczyla calkiem spora slodowosc, taka mandarynkowo biszkoptowa, która w dalszej fazie istepowala goryczce. Super rozpalające i treściwe hardcorowe IPA

Pours unclear amber, Smal white head. Smell is full, malty, bit hops. Taste is full, strong backbone, malty, hoppy. Very fruity. Not extreme, making it instantly drinkable. For all who loves an easy going Imperial ipa, this is the direction to go
