330 ml bottle, bb 2/2017. Thanks to my EU Secret Summer Santa MonsterMagnet!
Amber, hazy body, with a big, frothy, lacing, light beige head.
Aroma of sparkling wine, lemongrass, citrus, some spices, slight barnyard.
Tastes dry, of lemon zest, lemongrass, peppery spices, sparkling wine, grass, some dough, some sweet bread, some sweet fruits, subtle pine.
Medium, a bit creamy mouthfeel, with a quite fizzy carbonation.
Finishes bone dry, bitter, zesty, yeasty, spicy, a bit piney, subtly sweet, subtly alcohol warming.

Very nice. Dry, hoppy and spicy, with the champagne yeast well integrated, just providing some more crispness and fizziness. Overall not an outstanding style example maybe, but very well drinkable and characterful.

Botella 33 cl de vivalabirra tomada en el momento en Belmonte 01..08..2016. (r69). Color marrón oscuro muy turbio con mucha espuma beige persistente (servir con mucho cuidado : )). Aromas maltosos tostados afrutados tropicales.

Shared bottle on 10th July 2016: RBESG in Barcelona. Light haze to the golden yellow pour, white head that soon left the scene. Farmyard of a citrus orchard in the aroma, with a yeasty trace also. Taste was fairly sour and acidic citrus in nature. Decent enough blend of Lambic’s, but it was wasted on me because I do not really appreciate the style too greatly.

Poured from a 750 ml bottle. Aroma is rather earthy with fairly strong barnyard quality. Some light citrus notes with a bit of stone fruit. Light herbal notes. Soft acidity. Pours a hazy, golden orange with a medium small, thin white head that recedes to the edges and lingers. No lacing or legs. Flavor is somewhat acidic with a medium light lemon note and a touch of pineapple. Hints of stonefruit. Light bitterness and a touch of oak. Moderate earthy, barnyard funk with a touch of an herbal note. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation and a soft finish. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a pretty nice lambic. Soft acidity with a nice funky profile. Light oak and fruit notes. A pretty nice experiment.
