Marigold and lemongrass nose. Cloudy golden, thin head. Harsh mouthfeel, very fizzy. Lillies, grass, and lemon zest. Mild phenols are detected upon warming. Crisp and bitter. A dry floral pils sure to give your palate a thorough scrubbing. Tasty.

Aroma is moderate malty, wheat, light caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, herbs, grass, orange - citrus, moderate yeasty, fruity. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, fruity, hoppy, sharp, light yeasty. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20130913]

Aroma: The nose is very sweet, maple syrup, honey, caramel, toffee, and apple
Appearance: It pours a clear reddish-orange color with a frothy beige head and mid lace
Flavor: The taste is heavy sweet, and component-wise it basically matches up with the nose
Palate: It is medium bodied and has a pretty solid feels that stays away from getting too sticky
Overall Impression: I thought this was a decent, but ultimately too sweet beer. I certainly didn't hate it, but it just doesn't quite do it for me.

Pours very pale yellow into a Sam glass. Bright white fluffy head with excellent retention. Tropical fruit and hay aromas. Sharp with grass, bread, and tropical fruit upfront turning to a earthy bitter resin finish. Better than expected, but turns a little cloying after a while.

22oz bottle, split amongst friends. Poured a slightly hazy, amber color with a small off-white head. Aroma was notes of citrus, some wheat notes, caramel. Flavor was notes of caramel, citrus, floral notes. Banana in there, some chewy grains. Pretty thick brew. Interesting.

Draft @ Ale House Amesbury, MA. Clear amber color with no head. From the first sniff I knew I would be disappointed with this brew. It smells like they used Shipyard house yeast. (I really don’t like Ringwood) It smells like caramel malt and dirty dish water. The carbonation is fizzy like soda. The body is really thin. Oh man!... the flavor tastes like it smells. I would suggest that if Peak doesn’t have the capacity to brew all their beer in house, don’t contract it out for Shipyard to brew it. I didn’t finish my pint.

Pours hazy light gold into a Sam glass. Bright white head with medium retention recedes leaving soapy sheets. Coconut, lemon, and twinkie aromas. Soft with sour twinkie upfront turning to earthy sour tropical fruit and yeast in the lasting finish.

Spitzer’s Corner, NYC tap ($7): Pours golden with white head. Heavily hopped aroma with some grass. Taste is rather bitter, but in a very pilsner type of way. Good body. Good balance. All around good pilsner.
