Founded by partners in life and work, Charles Porter and Brenda Crow, Little Beast is a family brewery with a passion for making great beer and sharing it with others.
We craft wild, wood-aged and blended beer naturally with diverse cultures, including Saccharomyces, Brettanomyces, Lactobacillus, and wild flora. By harnessing the little beasts that ferment our beer, we capture their untamed beauty and produce farmhouse beers that are diverse in flavor and rare in character.

Can. Pours a near clear dull gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has dry light grape note with some wheat and a hint of funkiness underlying. Flavor has wheat and a tart grape up front with more a dryness in the finish.

Can from The Gull, North Vancouver
Black colour. Quite roasty but still balanced, some dark chocolate, salt, roasted nuts, mild smoke, and some alcohol feeling.
Very good.

Can from Tavour. Pours bright gold with a large foamy white head. Aroma of Perle hops plus a little bread and fruit. Med body. Flavor has a citrus note with some Perle peppery spicy aspects. Really fresh, clean and good tasting. Does finish just a bit bready. Ok, tho cause it has a nice level of bitterness.

16 oz. can, pours black with a small beige head. Aroma brings out some smoke, light cinnamon, caramel, and graham cracker. Flavour is somewhat smoky but very soft, with caramel, cocoa, cinnamon and graham cracker. Smoky palate, with no harshness whatsoever. Very tasty.

Dark brown. This is a bit thin, but has a touch of chocolate and a touch of vanilla. Arguably I'd like a bit more sugar. There's some things in here that are okay, but definitely some aspects that don't get it done. Need more sweetness, I keep coming back to that.

375 c&c from Hi-Time. Pours dark, translucent gold with a large foamy white head. Aroma seems a mix of Brett and oak wood. Med body or so. Flavor is Brett, sour pale stone fruit and mildly musty oak. Just a bit astringent. Really drys out my mouth. Pretty good flavor! Pleasantly funky.

Can. Pours a near clear dull gold with a white head that dissipates nearly completely. Aroma is straw and hay forward with a bit of cereal and just touch of wet grass underlying. Flavor also has lots of straw and hay with a bit of earthy grass and a bit of sweetness.
