A deep dark stout with a thin mocha head. In aroma, sweet fruity chocolate malt with dark fruits , light mineral notes, nice and smooth. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity chocolate malt with dark fruits, molasses, alcohol warmth, very nice. On tap at Ottawa winter brewfest 2020.

355ml can. Murky, darkest brown colour with average to huge, thick, frothy to creamy, slowly osteoporosing, moderately lacing, dark beige to tan head. Citrusy hoppy and roasty, chocolately, dark malty aroma, notes of cocoa, chocolate, coffee, hints of lemon, orange, mandarine with a zesty touch, some grass and chlorophyll as well. Taste is dry, grassy and zesty, citrusy hoppy, roasty and chocolately dark malty, notes of orange, lemon, mandarine, lemon zest, hints of cocoa, coffee. Not fully harmonious, malty and hoppy flavours remain slightly separated due to the high-grade dryness; some more sweetness could build a bridge. Not bad, though.

355ml can. Slightly cloudy, yellow-ish, pale golden colour with small to average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Citrusy and grassy, hoppy aroma, notes of lemon, lemon peel, a touch of yuzu, lemongrass, minimally husky, pale malty background. Taste is very dry, citrusy hoppy, zesty, notes of lemon, lemon peel, some yuzu, lemondrop,; completely bitter, chalky and papery finish without any sign of fruitiness. Watery texture, astringent, bone dry palate. Largely nice - sadly the finish ruins almost everything.
