A reddish copper ale with a thin off white head. In aroma, classic smooth biscuit malt with grassy English hops, like boréale rousse. In mouth, a nice crisp biscuit malt with good grassy British hops, very nice. On tap at brewery.

A golden saison with a thin mocha head. In aroma, sweet fruity banana malt, with cloves and cardamom, orange juice, very nice. In mouth, a nice fruity malt with banana, cloves, eugenol, cardamom, curacao, very nice, alcohol warmth. On tap at brewery.

A hazed golden ale with a thin off white head. In aroma, superb floral and resinous hops, catty notes, biscuit malt, tropical fruits, very nice. In mouth, a nice crisp biscuit malt with loads of citrusy hops, floral and resinous, alcohol warmth in finale, well done. On tap at brewery.

Served mulled: A murky amber ale with a thin big bubbled off white head. In aroma, loads of cloves over chai tea, mineral notes. In mouth, sweet cloves and cumin, warming alcohol, cardamom, OK. On tap at Hivern’ale, Jan 25 2012.

On tap: Poured a dark dirty reddish color ale. Aroma of tart cherry notes with some strange strong spices is not the most balanced and not that enticing. Taste is also dominated by tart cherry notes with some cereal notes which are somewhat off balanced with some strong spices which I have a hard time identifying. Body is full with no apparent alcohol. Warm beers are not my favourite but the spice mix used here was probably bit too strong too match the tart notes.
