Draft pour pint, enjoyed outside at the 192 Lake Trail Taproom. Feels like thisnosnthe first time in forever that I've seen a new Sumerian brew so I jumped all over it. Semi cloudy golden pour, patchy head, and avtive carb. Actually didn't know this was a grapefruit IPA when I ordered it, but one sip in, I knew. Juicy, tangy orange fruit. Mostly grapefruit, but has an orange juice side to it too. Smooth taste, very low bitter linger. Really refreshing, and the grapefruit character became more and more inviting as this one went. A treat for fans of juicy IPAs, grapefruit, and a little of each. Very nice.

12 oz can. Aroma is bready, grainy, lemon, chalky. Pours nearly clear golden with a thick pillowy bone-white head with great retention. Taste has some sweet bready malt backed by a faint dry bitterness in the finish. Not bad.

Draft pour to a tulip at Sumerian. I had this at the brewery a couple months back, and I swear it has changed a bit. I never uploaded my original rating, but I'll have to add it to this and compare later. Moderate golden orange haze. Oranges on the aroma. Flavor has a similar orange peel like flavor and bitterness. Creamy body, but not as thick as many in the style. Smooth, tropical fruit finish. Pretty good overall.

Draft pour at Sumerian, presented in a tulip. A beautiful glowing golden orange pour, clear, so making this quite a uinique IPA around here during these times. I love a nice dank IPA. One of my most memorable IPAs ever was the initial LA Dank and Sticky release, and the descriptor has intrigued me in a name ever since. A well balanced IPA here. Bitter, dank piney and citrus combined hops. Sharp taste. Bold late lingering hop flavors. Good IPA here.

Draft pour pint at Sumerian, continuing my weird streak of local Mexican lagers. I guess it's the season for it. Clean and clear shiny golden pour, lighter than expected in the style actually. Tons of pils malt aroma and flavor. Has a bit of a hop bite here for me. Overall a pretty simple lager. Drinks easy. Not too much flavor going on, but wasn't really relying on that. Slightest hint of corn late. Not bad.

22oz bottle pours out black topped with a tan head. Nose is not good infected sour cherries roast malts and bourbon barrel vanilla. Taste is more of the bad infected sour stout to bad this went sour.

Draft pour pint, poured at Sumerian. Just your typical, classic double digit abv pale ale here. Why not? Fun try here. A clean golden orange pour. Aroma suggests a strong beer, as expected. Boozy, but not too boozy. Orange spice like aroma. Flavor is generous with citrus hops, orange fruit. Orange peel like bitterness as a result. Constant Comment? Nice to see such a powerful hop showcase in a big league beer like this. Fun beer to try from an unexpected brewer. I like it.

Draft pour at Sumerian, pint presented on nitro. A reddish copper pour, with all the extras that come with a nitro pour. Rich caramel notes, with a clear hop addition which adds to the flavor nicely. A unique touch to this scotch ale. Creamy. Slightly sweet. Easy drinking for a bold scotch ale. Nice beer.

Draft pour pint, to a tulip at Sumerian. Shiny clean and clear golden pour, little to no head. Very clear lager, cracker grains, soft and sweet caramel compliment. Cool and simple drink. Reasonable amount of flavor going on. Would go great in a liter mug. Pretty good stuff.

Tasting at Matt’s, can; 5.5% ABV
Hazy golden color. Mild citrus hop aroma. Very good crackery malt base, a bit of bread, cereals; the citrusy hop is in perfect balance, a bit zesty, definitively resiny.
Excellent.
