A murky orange amber DIPA with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, nice fruity biscuit malt with resinous floral hops, grapefruit pulp, light tropical fruits, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with citrusy floral hops, pink grapefruit, alcohol warmth, very nice. On tap at L’autre oeil.

Draft: Poured a hazy amber color ale. Aroma of light citrusy hoppy notes with some residual sugar notes and light wheat malt. Taste is a mix citrusy hoppy notes with some light sweet wheat malt notes. Body is quite full with good carbonation. Enjoyable beer though lacking a bit of cohesion.

Bouteille 500ml.

Bottle shared by Jean-Yves at CBL 2017 in Osaka. Deep inky black with a gushing tan carbonation. Big savoury rich chocolate and velvety smooth oats and lightly roasty choco. Good but I would never have pegged it as a Double Stout made with coffee 3.6-7

First one from this brewery. Pours a clean, slightly unfiltered amber colour with some golden hues. Frothy warm cap, great retention for a Tripel with some creamy lace. Lots of spices (mostly nutmeg) in the nose, kind of like a Christmas beer with some caramel malts and hints of apples. Nice warming alcohol mouthfeel. Gets hazy at last pour. Spices in the taste as well with some nice grassy hops in the finish. Maybe the bay leaves. The caramel malt add some sweetness. Not so much a Tripel, but a real nice strong spiced ale.

Bottled. Clear mahogany colour, mid sized head. Bready nose with some tart lingonberry. Mid sweet with medium-full body and well rounded mouthfeel. Some milky caramel, tart red berries. Low bitterness. Mellow and pleasant.
