Can from the National Brewery Centre, Burton. Drunk at home. Light yellow with a greenish hue. Clear with a foamy white head. Strange odour: grains, metal, some astringent notes. Not a bad taste, actually, but very sweet and otherwise inconsequential. There's a sickly saccharine to the finish which kind of spoils the whole experience. A boring lager that's not quite a drain pour but not particularly enjoyable.

Deep golden color but the nose and mouth don’t deceive, adjunct filled brew with lots of corn and fuel notes. Quenching my thirst on a hot summer day, but does little else.

An Oxford tasting, can
Black color with generous brown head. Smooth mouthfeel, delicate roasted malt, subtle fruity esters in the aroma, dark fruits; not too strong, the body is medium-thin, and the final is dry.
Good.

12 oz. can, pours black with a small beige head. Aroma brings out light cocoa, some metallic notes, and molasses. Flavour is fairly bitter, with bitter molasses, metallic notes, and dry cocoa. Dry, bitter and metallic, but fairly solid. Decent.

Yellow, big bubbles and no head. Looks terrible. Smells appley. Tastes very sweet, but you wouldn’t call it malty. No hop. Bland.

Can. Pale gold with a heavy aroma of wet grains. On the palate, lighter and still really grainy, hop deprived swill that is also malt deprived...not really more balanced just fewer off notes. Touch of alcohol in the finish. In theory, you could drink this if you had to.
