Bomber from the LDB. Dark brown. Just a thin head. Dark malts, dates and ginger on the nose. Come across the palate light and thin for a winter ale and indeed it's just 5.5% abv. That's old school BC right there - lower abv than it should be and with muted character as a result of holding back. The balance is good, but this type of beer demands more presence.

473mL can, pours a hazy yellowish blonde with a small white head. Nose brings out herbal notes, with light grassy, some skunky notes, and biscuity malt. Flavour is similar, with a very herbal, grassy and even somewhat skunky character, with crisp biscuity malt. Grassy, herbal, rather skunky pilsner. Not one of the better local ones by a long shot.

On tap. Pours a dark brown with medium head. Aromas of roasted malts and sweet dark fruit. Flavors follow same, sweet dark sugar and a bit of metallic malts. Ok

Strong vegetable aroma on very white head and a kind of light copper body. Flavour is much the same, nearly sour hops and lots of cabbage notes and sweetness. Oily finish. A more bitter IPA, not bad, abv is quite subdued which is nice but not a spectacular brew.

Bottle from LDB. Pinkish colour. Smells floral, bit berryish. Touch of diacetyl. On the palate, stale hops, crackery malt and an overwhelming diacetyl character. It is not ethical to sell beer that is so blatantly faulty.

On tap. Pours a dirty amber with moderate head. Aromas and flavors of dull fruit and wet malts. Nothing really wrong just nothing worth noting

Poured from the tap at Kask. Clear golden copper with off white head. Light pine hops upfront giving a dry mouth texture. Well balanced.
