Poured from the tap at the brewery. Cloudy medium brown with yellow tinge and light beige head. Predominant toasted malt with some mild banana. Tastes a little burnt, but it grows on you.

Poured from 650mL bottle (No. 016 - 3rd Anniversary). Very slightly hazy golden yellow with minimal white head. Cereal malt with mild sweaty grapefruit hops, resin finish. Not a ton of flavour here, quite subdued... a little bit boring.

Meets most of style criteria but showing a lack of personality. Good beer, but does not stick out of standards.

Ugly murky brownish-amber colour. The visuals alone tell you something is wrong with this beer. The nose is not just yeasty but wonky. Harsh taste - acrid. There’s not much tartness, no hop. Just harsh and chemically. This is a good brewery most days, but the decision to sell, rather than pour out, such a blatantly faulty beer, is cynical, and unethical.
