473mL can, pours black with a medium beige head with long retention. Nose has a nice, medium roasted malt character, with a nice piney, earthy hop bite to balance -- well, that smells legit. Flavour is well-balanced between the roasted malt and earthy, somewhat piney hops. Nice malt backbone to support the moderately bitter finish. Certainly not the best black IPA out there, but it's well-made and strikes the right notes. Good stuff.

Dark brown, with a thick head. Toasty, almost meaty aroma. On the palate it’s medium bodied with more of a thin, roasty, crackery character. Moderate bitterness, and minimal hop aromatics. Finishes with a bit of husky harshness.

12 oz can from Vancouver, BC. Thanks, Marco! Pours a hazy yellow-gold color with a large bright white head and excellent retention. Decent lacing. Light pilsner malt aroma. Lemony hops flavor with a smooth, crisp, slightly dry finish. I disagree with the can: This is more bitter than most Czech pilsners, but it’s a mellow bitterness. Medium body and medium carbonation. Soft bitterness.

Dull golden colour, slight haze. Very mild aroma. Good mouthfeel; there's some biscuity malt flavour, but it's not sticky; the hopping, initially, is modest, with some piney resin; unfortunately it develops some pith later, increasingly. Apart from the pithy bitterness, it's ok.

Grapefruit and some sour malt. Golden pour with ok head. Sour mash kind of cloying finish. Very imbalanced. Can.

Pale blond colour, hazy, medium sized head, at least is more persistent than in the average Hazy. Mild aroma, pleasant, citrus fruit and tropical fruits. Dry mouthfeel, it's rather weak, but with timid crispness, some softness from the oats without being creamy or chalky, and decent hopping.
It's clean and fresh; add some hop brightness and sweetness, and you'll get something here. Good.

Ok, so this is some sort of peach sour with mezcal in it. The kicker - they put Tajn on the rim of the glass. Tajn? Oh fuck no. Not saying it’s out of line for mezcal but it should be! Tastes like peach, smoke, tajn…a mess. The mezcal clashes hard with the sweet and lightly tart base and yeah, get that stuff of the rim, please.

Gold and bright. Thick head. Passionfruit and sour. Lots of sour. Good passionfruit, would love a bit more mango sweetness…good though.

Dull hazy, no head. Soft, light fruitiness. Disappears quickly. Well named, but of course I like bitterness and bolder hop expression. I mean it is super soft, but for what purpose?

Old school amber with a dull-looking haze. Almost no head. Piney, resiny, toasty crystal malt character. Well balanced. Definitely this will get chewier as it goes but I’m happy for now.
