On tap at Farmstrong, pours a cloudy golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma smells like a hef, with ample banana and clove combining well. Flavour has a lot of fruity esters that sort of subdue the banana and clove, leaving a rather floral, perfume quality. Not a shining example of a hef. Needs work.

On tap at Farmstrong, pours a red-tinged deep dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma has lots of toasted nuts and a little toasted bready malt. Flavour has the toasted nuts and also some dry cocoa notes. Quite clean and well-balanced. Drinkable stuff, but a little weak in the body. Solid.

On tap at Farmstrong, pours a hazy amber brown with a small beige head. Aroma is subtle, with toasted nuts and bready malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with toasted nuts, bready malts and a slight fruitiness. Restrained but it's what you want from a brown ale. Nice stuff for what it is.

On tap at Farmstrong, pours a cloudy golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out herbal notes, with a bit of a slinky quality from the hops. Flavour is thankfully different, with a simple bone dry character - biscuity malt and bittering hops. Simple but nothing special.

On tap at Farmstrong, pours a hazy golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out light farmhouse notes (duh), including a little hay and biscuity notes. Flavour is quite crisp, with lots of farmhouse notes and fairly astringent hoppiness leaving a dry crispness on the finish. Reasonably clean, but I'd prefer less astringency. Okay.

On tap at Farmstrong, pours a clear pale yellow with a small white head. Aroma smells like a pale lager, with corn and maybe some grassiness. Flavour is much more like a pils, with lots of fresh grassiness and crisp crackery malt. Brewed correctly style, leaving a nice crisp dry bite on the finish. Very good.

Draft pour pint at Special Brews. Pours a cola black with a quick fade head. Mild toasty malt aroma. Flavor has hints of smokiness to it, with a lingering roasted malt forever. A thin line between a couple different styles in my opinion. Overall a fun, tasty beer.

Draft pour pint at Skagit River brewing. I got to a new brewery and end up discovering another new brewery. Well, new to me on both anyway. Pours a glowing golden color with a thin film head. Floral aroma with mild hops. Citrus hops with a bitter finish. Solid pale here.
