Description
It was a hot summer day and we were kicking back on a dock near Bobcaygeon. We were deep in a craft beer discussion when it dawned on us – why not start our own brewery? Sure it would take a ton of a hard work with long hours, recipe creation, branding and financing, but it’s doable, right?

In August 2017, we laid eyes on the old post office at 17 Bolton Street in Bobcaygeon, Ontario – what a fine brewery it would make. We submitted a proposal to flip the building into a brewery and were lucky enough to get the green light.

Now we’re on track to bring Bobcaygeon to Bobcaygeon. We’re working hard at renovating the building, and when we’re done we’ll have a full production facility, retail store and tap room offering our core line up of delicious beer along with a variety of seasonals and one-offs. To say we’re excited is an understatement. Our dream of making great craft beer to be enjoyed among friends is coming true.

In the meantime, we’ve opened our Innovation Lab in Peterborough at 649 The Parkway, Unit 4. The focus here will be on unique offerings, with plenty of one offs and different beers to try. Brewing will happen on site, or you can try the beers in our tasting room and purchase beer to go in our Gift Shop. Visit us today!

0.473l can from Foodland Eganville. Aroma is piney, tropical fruity, peachy and biscuity with grapefruit note. Taste starts juicy tropical fruity, citrusy and resinous, following is floral with melon and bubblegum note, mouthfeel is smooth, while finish is average bitter. Medium body, creamy texture and soft carbonation in palate. Let there be light…

This IPA poured a cloudy, medium yellow colour with a big, creamy bright white head. Nice lacing. Scents include pineapple, lemon rind, cooked veggies, orange citrus and a little tea. First swig was hoppy but not too bitter with flavours of pineapple, lemon, orange, malt and a little honey. Finish is all hops with citrus flavours lingering.

Part of their IPA Mix Pack, pouring an unfiltered, hazed-by-floating-tiny-particles, light golden-yellow colour with a big creamyish white cap, good retention and thick creamy lacing. Some nice, fresh grapefruit aromas with hints of pineapple and apples. The mouthfeel is on the thin side, but still has some bite with some mild dryness in the finish. The taste is lighter, but shows decent citrus zest. Quite a beautiful-looking, decent Session IPA in the end.
