This sour poured a light yellow colour with a creamy, white head. Nice lacing. Scents include creamsicle, citrus and hay. First swig was nice and mildly sour. Flavours of sour orange candy, grains and malt with a chalky mouthfeel. Finish is smooth with fruity flavours lingering.

This Belgian poured a pink, cloudy colour with a creamy, light pink head. Nice lacing. Scents include raspberry jam, cream and hay. First swig was smooth and creamy with not much of a bang as expected. Flavours of raspberry yogurt, club soda and light grass. Very light to drink, with mild yeast/raspberry flavours lingering.

This lager poured a light golden yellow colour with a creamy, off white head. Nice lacing. Scents include light malt, sweet corn and a little perm solution. First swig was quite thin but drinkable. Flavours of corn, sweet malt and light hop. Why a Micro wants to produce a light lager, I’ll never know. Finish is sweeter malts with a light hop bitterness lingering.

This DIPA poured a hazy, golden yellow colour with a fizzy, off white head. Nice lacing. Scents include grass, citrus and hay. Hops it does! First swig was delicious. Flavours of pineapple, grass, honey and citrus. Finish is all pineapple with light bitterness lingering.

This lager poured a hazy amber colour with a creamy, bright white head. Beautiful lacing. Scents include light caramel malt and a little biscuit. Not a lot on the nose. First swig was smooth, very creamy and slightly sweet with flavours of caramel, malt and light toast. Finish is creamy smooth with grains lingering.

This IPA poured a slightly hazy, medium yellow colour with a creamy, bright white head. Beautiful lacing. Scents include citrus/grassy hops, ripe fruit and dough. First swig was a little thinner than expected. Flavours of grass, orange and a little hay. Finish was medium bitter with flavours of hop bitterness lingering.

First swig was smooth and crisp with flavours of corn, light malt and light perm solution. Finish is lightly bitter with hop flavour lingering.

This NEIPA poured a cloudy, light amber colour with a creamy, off white head. Nice lacing. Scents include strong citrus, pineapple and grass. First swig was smooth and creamy with flavours of hops, honey and grass. Finish is surprisingly not that bitter, with mild hop flavour lingering.

Tap at Birreria Volo. Hazy orange colour, small white head. Tart, apricot, wood aroma. Medium-bodied. Tartish, fruity, vinegary even. Good drinkability in this one.
