An amber ale with a thin lacing mocha head. In aroma, a nice nutty caramel malt with light grassy hops, faint herbal odors, OK. In mouth, a nice nutty caramel malt with grassy hops, rye bread, not bad.

This Bitter poured a deep orangey red colour with a nice, fluffy, off white head. To the nose there are scents of caramel, cereal and malt. First sip was kind of thin with watery texture and not a lot of flavor. Light flavours of roasted malts, caramel and hay most predominant. Finsh is malty with a mild roasty flavor. Pretty good but needs to have more balls.

Pretty decent for a bitter. Pours brown without much head or lacing. Some barley in here with a little hops on finish. Crisp finish. Average carbonation. Bottle.

Single bomber from the LCBO and my first from the Niagara College Teaching Brewery. Pours a clean amber colour with a light beige head, almost creamy, decent retention and some good lace. Aromas of watery caramel with hints of nuts. Medium-bodied with a little fiz, kind of a Perrier mouthfeel finish. A little sweet taste with some very mild hops in the finish, but all watered-down. An average bitter but with something a bit off... everywhere.

nNice floral hops and feel, but not super balanced. Aroma of florals and malt. Pours translucent maroon with some head, no lacing. Finish is astringent and a little sweet. Ok but astringency needs some fine tuning. Tap at The Only Cafe.

This is a little unbalanced. Pours cloudy orange with a little lacing. Very syrupy consistency. Hops are a little floral, lots of malt in the aroma. Finishes bittersweet. On tap at Get Well.

Pours gold with pop-up, die-down fizz. Smells like little. Tastes trashy with some chemicals. It’s easier to taste the palate on whatever dish detergent they used to clean this glass than the beer itself - there ain’t nothing. The name brings a reminiscence of all the shitty hangovers I had to enjoy as a result of not getting laid in college, without the breakfast burritos. Cheap bottle at Saving Gigi’s.
