On tap at the brewery. Pours a dark brown with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is pine and citrus. Medium body, pine, grass, light bitter finish, good.

Draft pour pint at Populuxe, paired with some Nacho Mama’s finest. Pours a golden orange color. Spicy rye and orange fruit aroma. Orange peel bitter, mixed spices, rye, spicy malt, oranges. A lot going on in an IPA. Refreshing. Interesting beer here.

Draft pour pint at Populuxe, presented on nitro. Pours a near black with a nitro tan foam head. Mild toasty, sweet malt aroma. Creamy flavor, slight roast, but a bit bland and dry in the finish. Pretty easy drinking, and bitterness remains subtle. Not super interesting, but not bad either.

Draft pour pint at Populuxe. Pours a mostly copper color with a soda like fizz head. Bold malt centered aroma. Flavor is a sweeter malt, overpowering a juicy hop profile. Unique. Creamy. A well executed beer for sure, though I’m not sold on the flavors, it is exactly what they say it is. Pretty good.

Draft pour pint at Populuxe, to celebrate the grand opening of Nacho Mama’s. Congrats to Chris and Sandra. Huge cheers to this, and too an overwhelming success to follow. Pours a golden color with a patchy fizz head. Slight fruit hop aroma. Flavor is crisp, with a constant hop bitterness. Medium body, and overall a predictable, standard IPA. Good in a lot of ways, just not as interesting. Easy to drink. Enjoyed this.

Draft pour pint at Populuxe, presented in nitro. I don’t think I have ever seen a mild on nitro, so ordering this took very little thought. Dark copper pour with a thick cream top head. Nutty malt aroma. soft grassy note, hidden behind a nutty malt. Strange metallic note, but not the metallic that usually shows up in some beers. Remains creamy, and I feel the nitro adds to this beer a ton. Extra points for prime uniqueness. Fun beer.

Draught at Brouwer’s Café, Seattle
Cloudy dark amber color with red hue, generous fluffy head. The aroma is a bit hoppy. The mouthfeel is bold but not too sweet, some caramel, but nothing exciting, as the hopping is a bit orangey and animal.
Good beer, well made, but not impressive.

Draft 12 Oz pour at the brewery. Clear pale golden pour with nearly no head. Aroma that makes it obvious what beer on the menu you have. Such dominant gin. Flavor is pure Vicks vapor. Medicinal in a way. The gin overpowers all traditional saison flavor. Very cool, Vicks finish. Weird is the theme here tonight.

Draft 12 oz pour at Poluluxe. I don’t know why it’s weird for me to see a beer like this, at a place like this. Unexpected I guess. Golden copper pour that by looks, is an IPA. Sour mixed berry aroma. Flavor is weird. I don’t know how else to describe it. Definitely not bad. But weird. Thick body, fruity, low sour. Sourness 5/10. Fun beer, but again.. weird.

On tap at Brouwer's Cafe, pours s hazy dark amber / mahogany with a medium beige head. Aroma is huge and rather abrasive, hinting at a large residual sweetness, along with resinous hops and caramel malt. Flavour is rather flat, with bready malts and only subtle resinous hops. Seemed promising on the nose, but it really falls flat on the flavour. Inoffensive but off the mark.
