23/9/2023. Bottle courtesy of Matthias, cheers! Pours hazy orange straw gold with a small frothy white head. Aroma of caramel, malt, hay, yeast, touch of herb, hint of sulphur. Moderate sweetness and medium bitterness. Moderate body, average carbonation. Decent enough pils.

Klüvers Bock, eine bernsteinfarbene Bierspezialität von 6,5 %, Fläschchen per Post von Bierselect.de. - Goldbraun, trüb. - In der Nase klebrige Sirupsüße, Rosinen, Aprikosenkonfitüre, fuselige Züge und frische herbale Hopfung wie von stark gesüßtem Kräutertee. - Antrunk schwer und sirupartig malzsüß mit feiner doch von Süße erdrückter Frucht, rote Johannisbeere, bittere Orangenschale, Rosinen, ein Hauch von Grapefruit. Gut rezent, breit, nicht restlos kaschierter Alkohol. Im Abgang runde zitrusfruchtige und herbale Bittere. - Arg klebrig-süßer Bock, den auch die frische Hopfung nicht herausreißt. Zuviel des Guten.
