Bottled. Very dark red. Aroma of rubber and roasty malt. Sweet and lightly yeasty with rounded mouthfeel. The hop rate is fairly low, which leaves the finish wide open for a minor touch of lactic acid to dominate.

A hazy deep red beer with a small brown head. The aroma is sweet with notes of caramel. The flavor is just like the rest of the beers from Svaneke: sweet with notes of caramel, straw, and yeast. I suspect reason for the beers being very alike is the yeast used.

This is not a christmas beer, it´s too hoppy, and not sweet, bus it is still a very good beer...... The Hopp is so powerfull, that it could scare beginners. The flavour is bitter and sour, but in a good way. The finish is powerfull and acetic. It is very carbonated and a beer with caracter, (maybee you won´t like it)

(500 ml bottle). Reddish brown colour, hazy (unfiltered). Very good thick head. Moderate malty aroma, notes of caramel. Flavour is malty and slightly spicy, not too sweet. Well balanced with a nice hoppy bitterness in the finish. Mouthfeel is a bit watery though. Overall: Not bad this one.

700 ml bottle, unfiltered. ABV was 5.8%. Copper coloured, slightly hazy, good head. Moderate malty aroma with caramel and spices, hints of fruits. Flavour is malty, caramel, nuts and spices with a substantial hoppy bitterness. Moderate bitterness in the aftertaste. In a blind test I’d probably guess this was an English strong bitter / strong ale. Not bad.

Bottle conditioned, 700 ml. ABV is 5.8%. Cloudy brown colour, moderate head. Interesting aroma and flavour: caramel and toffee but not really sweetish, spices (cardamom, white pepper, salt of hartshorn), some alcoholic bite but not too much. Hoppy bitterness in the finish leaves a nice aftertaste. Good beer! Thanks, JensenTaster!
