A relatively light !PA with soft citrus and grassy hops and mild bready malt. The tastes are a bit muddled and bland. Not offensive, but not inspired either.

If real raspberry puree was used in this... It should have been left unfiltered. Whay is left is an odd cloyingly sweet raspberry Aroma, that borders on artificial. The finish is oddly sweet, and leaves a big time fake raspberry perfume in my mouth. This was weird.

On tap at Portland Craft, pours a clear pale blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out crunchy vegetal notes, light herbal notes and crisp grassiness. Flavour is dry and under-hopped, with bready malt and a touch of herbal hops. Under-hopped and lifeless but dry and drinkable. It's fine.

473ml can. Pours an opaque black with a medium, creamy, long lasting, tan head that leaves curtains of lace. Mild, sweet aroma of roasted malt, caramel, dark chocolate and day-old coffee. Sweet flavour of roasted malt, dark chocolate, caramel and earth in a dry, mild bitter, day-old coffee finish. Light to medium body with a watery to oily texture and soft carbonation. Pretty simple and a bit thin for the style, but ok.

473ml can. (6.5% ABV) Pours a hazy gold-yellow with yeast particles in suspension and a medium, frothy, long lasting, ecru head that laces. Sweet aroma of bready caramel malt, orange, grapefruit and weedy hops. Sweet flavour of bready caramel malt, orange, grapefruit rind, pine resin and floral hops in a dry, bitter finish. Medium body with an oily texture and average carbonation. Malt forward. Could use more hops, but not bad.

Clear copper gold with a decent white head. Malt with just a touch of spice and lots of vanilla. Tons of vanilla and a long sweetness.

500ml bottle from the source, corked and wired down to look all fancy-like. Has a nice brownish clear body with ruby hints and some reasonably solid foam on top. The aroma is malt with vague grape hints, not necessarily bad but it all could be brighter. The flavour is a soft muddy fruit, maybe grape, mixed with some sweet darker malt. It's all a little muddled, maybe a mulled wine kind of effect. Full enough on the mouth and warming, but hardly too exciting. Still, I don't think it's that bad and it's reasonably well made.

Can, hazy straw coloured with an inch of white head. Aroma of woody pineapple, underripe tropical fruit, grass clippings. Tastes better - the pineapple is nice and there's a bit of pine at the end of the crackery malt that fits nicely with the moderate bitterness. As ever for me, a good finish makes it.
