On tap at 12 Kings, pours a clear copper with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out floral and piney hops upfront, with toasted biscuity malt underneath. Flavour is along the same lines, with a pleasant floral and piney hop character, light pithy fruits and toasted biscuity malt to back. Nicely constructed, no nonsense IPA.

Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
Hazy golden color, creamy head. The aroma is mildly earthy, the flavor is even more prominently earthy; it’s dry, it has no notable malt base, no remarkable hop, and I get the feeling of cold brew coffee.
Not appealing.

Amber, bubbly head. Aroma shows a fair bit of malt toastiness. Again toastiness on the palate, with just a vaguely herbal hop. This has too much malt character to really showcase the loral.

Cask - Earthy and some leafy notes. Cloudy gold with a frothy white head. Earthy and a touch vegetal with some bitterness.

Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
Hazy blond color with greenish hue. Anonymous aroma, dry mouthfeel, stale bread flavor, a bit metallic in the finish. Not a good wheat beer, and no Mandarina character.
Very poor.

Bottle from Viti on Nanaimo, Vancouver
Golden color, clean. The aroma is very dank; pungent hops. Lean mouthfeel, dry; the malts are a bit biscuity, the character is strong, gets a bit in the way of the hops; the hopping is very resiny, quite dank. Excellent. Now try with a crisp and blond malt base, please.

On tap at 12 Kings, pours a clear dull golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out light oranges and whispy wheat, pretty restrained. Flavour is extremely laid back, with pillowy wheat upfront, accentuated with just a tinge of mandarin oranges. Unobtrusive but rather weak. Banal.

Bronze colour, bright. No head. The aroma is extra dank, just a bag of weed, super abundant aroma. On the palate, has a lot of caramel richness on the palate, a fair bit of bitterness, pretty bright mosaic. The malts might actually be a bit too caramel but damn that hop is pretty nice...they dumped a stack in there and it shows.

22 oz. bottle, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma is massively dank, with light tropical fruits, and herbal, pot-like notes. Flavour is expressive, with dank hops, some tropical fruits, pot and dry biscuity malt. Super dank in the hop department, with a dry, hoppy finish. Surprisingly dank and deep. Really nice.
