Bottle - Earthy and woody notes with lots of toffee. Cloudy amber with a small beige head. Malty and caramel with some toffee. Nice residual sweetness in the finish. I find the nose horrible, but the flavors are quite nice.

On tap at Postmark, pours a clear copper with a small white head. Aroma is very subdued, with light biscuity malt. Flavour is crisp, with biscuity malt and not a whole lot else. Bland and without any character. Another useless beer.

I had this at Alibi, but couldn't verify the details yet. Straw, medium headZ bright. The nose is kind of light. Earthy...seems like some sort of stale continental type to me...nice pale malt character and appropriate bitterness. Good pils.

Bottle, Legacy. Bright amber. Bubbly head. This has a nice blackberry note - could be hop or background esters. I have little experience with Enigma at this point. On the palate, I'd say the malts stand out, lots of biscuity, slightly toasty (like low SRM crystal) malt. The fruit is kind of a tayberry/salmonberry sort of thing. Relatively low apparent bitterness. While clearly an American-style IPA, the malts and delicate fruitiness are much more a turn towards classic English ale structure. Full body, and an evenly-balanced finish. I like it.

355mL bottle, pours a clear pale yellow with a small white head. Nose brings out corn, straw, and some skunk. Flavour is quite skunky, with herbal notes, straw and corn. Skunky and dry. Shitty pale lager.

Can. Light gold. Has a fine sulphury aroma. Very pale, light, bit sour in the finish. Sweetish and sourish, and nothing particular to recommend with this.

On tap at St. Augs. Bright, brick amber. Mostly an amber with light amber, ok.

Gusher, way overcarbonated. But the beer was good and nicely to style. A bit thin on the body, but the roast is nice. Bottle from Bc. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
