On tap at St. Augustine's, pours a clear copper with a small white head. Aroma brings out light piney and earthy hops, with toasted biscuity malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with earthy and piney hops, with a toasted biscuity malt base. Nicely balanced though a rather odd hop character. Solid.

Very mild tartness. Definitely on the low end for the style. Other a cleanly made beer, but lacking a lot of complexity. Beer revolution calgary

Draught @ Alibi. Amber, touch if haze and no head. Big oaky nose, vinous, and a bit of that well-caramelized malt I recall from the base beer. On the palate, this has a rich juicy acidity, again referencing white wine, but still retains some of that malty richness. Pronounced oaky signature, too. This is fun. Not actually surprised it's a bit polarizing, though. It seems like it would be.
