Draft - Sweet, fruity and vegetal notes. Clear Amber with a beige head. Sweet, malty, cereal and a bit more esters. Finish is dry with a touch of grain.

Hazy amber color. Light aroma; dry mouthfeel, it has some pleasant biscuity malt flavor; strong bitterness, but the hopping is a bit hard, some hop resins, not much fruitiness.
Another Vancouverian example that fresh hops are not enough, you also need good hops and brewing skills.

Bottle - Raspberry and lemon sweetness. Clear gold with a small white head. Sweet raspberry, lemon and a long finish. Light sweet malts and a long finish. Very sweet.

On tap at Postmark, pours a hazy orange with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out herbal notes and toasted bread. Flavour is fairly fresh and crisp, with toasted nuts, herbal notes and a nice bready freshness. Clean and refreshing - quite decent.

On tap at Postmark, pours a clear amber with a medium beige head. Aroma brings out toasted caramel and some winter spices. Flavour is along the same lines, with bready malt, winter spices and a toasty finish. Clean and drinkable, but nothing interesting.

Red amber color, hazy, with small tan head. Mild caramel aroma and flavor, off-dry and a bit metallic, with light puckery notes. Ordinary bitterness, a bit nutty in the end.

Beautiful bright amber color, hazy. The aroma has a bit more cereals than the malt; the body is lean, too much, with not enough malt depth; it has a sweet nut touch too, that replaces some of the missing bitterness.
Nothing exciting, but then also in Germany a lot of Bocks are like this one.
Pleasant, simple, clean.
