Cask-conditioned at the Star, Talybont, Brecon 07/09/10. A reddish amber beer with a slight off-white head. A malty bitter, with plenty of fruit, touch of caramel, and decent bitter finish. Fine.

Bottled (from Estate Wine). Deep amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is caramel malts, some rather toasted notes, mild toffee and fudge. Flavour is caramel malts, some toasted notes, toffee and mild notes of caramel. Pleasant.

Bottled (from Estate Wine). Amber colour, not much head. Aroma is fruity and floral hops with some mild sweet malty notes. Flavour is fruity and floral hops along with sweet malts, sme spices an mild herbal notes. Spicy and fruity aftertaste. Very nice.

Hazy amber beer with no head. Zero carbonation. Light dry malt with some unwelcome apple flavours. Very dry finish. Boring, green and too dry.

Cask@GBBF2010. Amber colour, small white head. Aroma is fruits, some wood, syrup and mild fruityness as well. Flavour is fruity, wooden, honeyish, mildly grassy and nutty notes as well. Pleasant bitter.

Bottled. Clear nut brown, creamy head. Aroma of chocolate mousse. Mid sweet with light-medium body and well rounded mouthfeel. Some cocoa roastiness takes you to asalty bitter finish. Pleasant beer!
