On tap at Esbjerg Beerfestival. A slightly hazy, dark brown beer with a diminishing beige head. Roasted, peaty nose with tar and charcoal. Rosted flavor too, with tar and peat, finishing with a coffee-like bitterness. Dry in the mouth, yet with a sweet touch. A bit too dry and tar-ish and peat-ish for my likings, but a fine beer it is. 091023

On tap at Esbjerg Beerfestival. A slightly unclear, golden beer topped by a finger-thick, dense beige head leaving some lacings. Flowery, heathery nose that didn’t ring any bells. Sweet flavor with a banana touch. Heather and pale malts in the background. Smooth, effervescent mouthfeel. A quite quaffable beer, nothing more. In fact, it’s rather boring. 091023

Draught at Ølbaren, Copenhagen
Hazy deep blond color. The aroma is too simple. The flavor shows some cereals, light hay, very light malt, not so bad; the bitterness is quite strong, but it also tends to be quite aggressive in the end. Easy.
