12oz bottle pours a clear orange with some very frothy white head. Nose has some dried citrus peel and pepper, a little beery with that sticky slightly stale thing, some orange. Flavor is better with orange and grass and mild pepper, lemon, grapefruit, soap. Dry finish. Crushable.

Light amber and copper coloured body with a thinnish tan head. Aroma of nice fresh grassy and herbal hops with hints of light pine. Medium-bodied; Assertive grassy and herbal hops with a nice citrus finish showing a touch of sweetness, some subdued resinous notes and finishing with a good malt backbone that balances this out nicely. Aftertaste shows some malt and a faint bit of sugars, but this is all about the grassy and very herbal hops - very nice. Overall, a well-balanced IPA from the east coast that shows well and hits the highs of an IPA while being balanced by a nice malt body. I sampled this stubby twelve ounce bottle purchased from Beer Culture in New York (Midtown), New York on 27-November-2015 for US$3,00 sampled at home in Washington on 12-March-2016.

Tap at stags head. Dirty red pour. Nose is some fruit resin pine and grain alcohol. Tastes of red fruit, resin, perfume, some medicinal note and boozy as fuck for the abv. Anyways probably could also be an American strong ale but I put as Amber since debatable.
