Draught @ Albion. Cloudy orange with creamy beige head, orange peel aroma, high carbonation, medium bitter slightly sweet orange peel taste, thin body, long orange peel finish. Quite smooth and well balanced, a good DIPA.

Rattle H hum East. Ljusgul medelgrumlig. Doftar fräscht av nyklippt gräs och lite barr. Smakar Apelsinskal och i eftersmaken kommer tallbar och nysågad planka. Ok Dipa

At a restaurant: pours slightly hazy golden with a white head. Aroma is citrus, fruity, hints of pine. Large and kind of sweet. Was definitely a sipping type beer for me. Moderate aftertaste.

Poured into a nonic pint glass, the appearance was a rustic semi-dark brown color with a thin white foamy to bubbly head. Quickly dissipates, sly running lace trickles into the beer.
The aroma had some nutty sweetness, light milk chocolate, subtle amounts of coffee.
The flavor combines the previously mentioned aromas with a brisk semi-sweet aftertaste and finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Mild carbonation. Brisk roastiness plays with the feel on my tongue.
Overall, this one was a pretty good English styled brown ale that I could have again.

Poured into an English pint glass, the appearance was a black color with a creamy colored thin foamy head that died off at a decent pace. Semi-foamy thin lace.
The aroma took in portions of milk and dark chocolate over some subtle vanilla notes and then graces the underneath with a light roasty, some char and coffee beans.
The flavor slightly brings together the previously mentioned aromas to blend decently between the roast and the sweet. Crisp sweet roasted aftertaste and finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Moderately carbonated, subtle roasty nuances slide over my tongue nicely in a nice semi-smooth wet sort of way.
Overall, nicely done porter somewhat leaning to the English side. I could come back to this.

Deep dark brown coloured body with a nice thinnish, two centimetre all off-white head. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee, toffee, earth, grain and a bit of pitted fruits. Medium-bodied; Strong malt flavour with a lot of caramelised sugars, some toffee and fruits and a big dose of metal noticeable. Aftertaste shows some grain and a bit of toasted malt, a lot of caramel and toffee and a heavy flavour of light coffee and tea. Overall, a nice and rich beer with a pronounced roasty flavour, a lot of sweetness from caramelised sugars and a bit of bitterness and deep flavours at the end. I sampled this stubby twelve ounce bottle purchased yesterday from Whole Foods in New York (Bowery), New York on 20-January-2017 for US$2,99 sampled at my hotel here in New York on 21-January-2017.
