Can from Total wine and more Houston Galleria Area. Pours a dark gold/red color with a decent sized off white head that slowly recedes. Toasty bready with a hint of chocolate light earthy spicy hops to counter. Not bad.

Draught at B bar, Houston airport, terminal C, 3/25/23. Clear medium amber, little/no head. Light toast, light caramel, not too sugary. Some light citrus and earth. Medium soft malty, though some graininess and thinning on the end. Good caramel, orange, white bread flavors with good attenuation. Clean, drinkable, balanced. Low hop character.

12 oz. can from HEB in San Antonio, TX. Pours a crystal clear yellow-gold color with a white head and fair retention. Minor lacing. Apple juice / apple cider aroma. Tastes like a very tart cider, with only limited apple flavor. Much more lime flavor versus the aroma, with salt in the finish. Thin body. Crisp mouthfeel. No bitterness. A little too tart, and not beery enough for me. Mission accomplished I guess, but not for me.

Ember at IAH draught 10/31/22. Lightly hazy, bright golden-blonde. Medium, well-retained, white head. Smells juicy with mango, lemon, tangerine and clean yeast. Touch of honey-like malt and no alcohol or resin. Good aroma strength. Some strong ester and a bit thinner than expected with some strong bitterness on the finish. Honey and cracker malt, bubble gum, lemon and orange with light pine and mild resin on the finish. Alcohol apparent with warming.

Can thanks to AJ. Pours black with small tan head that lasts. The aroma is roast, licorice, wood, orange peel, vanilla. Slick body, similar flavors to nose, boozy finish, very good.
