12oz can pours out amber topped with a sand head. Nose is nice bread malts some nutty notes and a grassy hop. Taste is more of the nice light malts some bread and grass.

Raspberry, barley malt, and straw aroma. Hazy golden yellow with large white head. Lightly sweet raspberry, barley malt, and mildly bitter straw flavor. Good body. Pleasant - nice easy drinking beer.

Corn, barely malt, and grass aroma. Golden yellow with large white head. Mildly sweet lemon, corn/barley malt, and mildly bitter grass flavor. Good body. A well made lager.

Can. A- Rye, citrus, dank, pine, mildew. A- Copper orange color, clear liquid, off white head. T- Mildew, rotten citrus, rye, mild bitterness. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, slightly off finish. O- The bigger brother of 1,000 truths. Lots of rye. Overall, I get a lot of mildew basement and wet dog vibes going on. I know this is part of the beer but I struggle to get on board with it. Just not a big fan. Surprisingly low bitterness.

Draft. A- Yeasty, lemon, soapy, banana, mild clove. A- Golden color, clear liquid, off white head. T- Caramel, banana, clove, bubblegum, wheat, very subtle smoke. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- My first dampfbier and I very much appreciated it. Unique style I would love to see so much more of. Adding more of a smoke component would really kill it for me. The aroma gave me vibes of a lonely late night brewery visit which apparently is a strange aroma stuck in the depths of my mind. Perhaps the best beer I've had from Cosmic. I enjoyed this.

Sample @ GABF 2019. Pours a hazy pale yellow color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty spicy yeasty aroma with hoppy hints. Fruity malty spicy yeasty grassy flavor. Has a fruity malty spicy yeasty finish.

Can @ GABF 2019. Pours a black color with a small off-white head. Has a slightly roasted malty caramel and chocolate aroma. Slightly roasted malty caramel and weak coffee flavor. Has a slightly roasted malty caramel and chocolate finish with weak hints of coffee.

Deep dark brown coloured body with a nice, thick, three to four centimetre tall light brown head. Aroma of light roasted malt, toast, bread, subdued yeast and a nice smooth dose of caramlised sugars. Light-bodied; Sharp toast and roasted malt notes with a little bit of peat, nuts, caramel and even some vanilla in the finish, but very light throughout, in a good way. Aftertaste is roasty, crisp, lightly peaty/smoked and a touch of the vanilla/sweet notes finish off this very nicely. Overall, a very soft, crisp, incredibly drinkable beer that still has a lot of flavour, and is something different from a Light IPA or other 'session' based beer. This shows a lot of character throughout, but especially on the malt and caramelised sugar front, with a lot of grain, peat and light yeast notes showing through. Great to have throughout and a nice offering in Nebraska! Very hazy golden and peach coloured body with a nice three to four centimetre tall off-white head that fades relatiely quickly. Aroma of citrus, cleanser, alcohol, yeast, biscuits, light malt and a dose of pine - quite strong. Medium-bodied; Assertive grassy and herbal hop notes up front with a lot of bitterness from the alpha acids, while still supported by some stronger malts and a dash of yeast and alcohol, with some sweetness from tropical fruits and a dash of citrus. Aftertaste shows some bitterness and a touch of sweetness with citrus and fruits and finishing with some light alcohol and punch - very nice throughout and quite strong, especially for the style and for the alcohol content, which feels higher than it actually is. Overall, a nice, relatively 'traditional' IPA that shows some nice notes, but hits as an East Coast IPA, or as it's categorised here - a nice APA. Clear golden coloured body with a thinnish, single centimetre tall pure white head that leaves a small lace on the side of the glass. Aroma of grass, light hay, some herbal hops and a light dose of malt - fairly understated, especially for the style. Light to Medium-bodied; Nice more assertive hops show up front with some grassy and very herbal characteristics along with a dose of citrus fruits, which are all supported fairly nicely by a good biscuity malt and some yeast that shows through, even at the end. Aftertaste is dry and herbal with the hops the strongest and a little bitterness from the alpha acids, but not akin to a West Coast IPA by any means. Overall, a deep and dry IPA that has a good balance, nice flavours from the dry and herbal characteristics, while still showing some light bitterness, a soft sweetness from the citrus fruits and an easy-drinking and straight-forward [middle of the country] IPA.
