Bottle. Amber with a white head. Punchy floral aroma of pine, berries, kumquats, light biscuit. Just medium bodied with a slight touch of caramel with the biscuit. Not all that sweet, gives sufficient support to fruit Increasingly resinous and it dries out towards the bitter and floral finish. Yet another good pale ale from Epic. Couldn't detect the woo in my chakras.

From a 500ml bottle is on 1/5/2018. Pours a deep cloudy amber with almost no head. Has quite a strong aroma of caramel and stewed fruit. Massively sweet in the mouth - oodles of caramel, butterscotch, toffee, honey and ripe and dried fruit. Even a hint of milk chocolate. There is a decent bitterness at the back but the sweetness certainly prevails. The palate is sticky and syrupy, with softish carbonation. This is the sweetest barley wine I’ve ever had, but with a very sweet tooth, I can happily live with that. It may not be for everyone, but it’s a mightily impressive malty dessert treat.

Bottle. Bright amber with a cm of white head. Aroma of berries, boiled citrus, feijoa, guava. Lightish bodied, slightly creamy and delicate. Some bread crust, lots of fruit and a little resin. Perhaps not as vibrant as some Epic pale ales but has a light touch that I liked.

From a 500ml bottle on 26/4/2018. Pours a slightly opaque deep golden with a medium head The aroma is lovely, sweet and a bit floral, with lots of caramel in the mix. Has a big caramel backbone, as suggested by the nose, as well as some biscuit, peach, apricot and a bit of honey. The hops kick in with lots of resin and hint of spice. The mouthfeel is slick and the carbonation moderate. Exhibits sensational balance and length. An absolutely top flight malt driven DIPA.

Bottle. Amber with a modest white head. Aroma of zesty and pulpy grapefruit, mango skin, bread crust. Some sticky dried fruit/ bread crust sweetness under lots of vibrant citrus and tropical fruit (mango, lychee, guava, passionfruit). Dryish, fairly bitter and rather abrupt finish.

Bottled. A yellow beer with a white head. The aroma has notes of citrus fruits, spices, hops, malt, and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, citrus fruits, and hops, leading to a bitter finish.

Bottle. Very pale gold and clear enough that you can easily read text through it. Modest white head. Aroma of lime, kumquats, bread crust. Decent body for under 5% - firm bread and biscuit. Citrus is subdued. Some tropical notes. Punchy floral, almost spicy bitterness at the end. A bit too fizzy. Solid but not perhaps their most exciting - would kill on cask though.
