(Bottle) Hazy amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with citrus, orange peel, mandarin, caramel, resin, apricots, lychee, toffee, honey and tropical fruit. Malty, hoppy taste with notes of citrus, orange peel, apricot marmalade, caramel, toffee, tropical fruit, resin and a generous citric/resiny bitterness in the finish. More than medium body, with a slight sweetness. Really well made and tasty DIPA with impressive amounts of citric/resiny hops and malt to back it up. Excellent beer!

Aromas of grapefruit, lemon, pepper and soap. A typical session IPA with plenty of grapefruit in the mouth, plus a little funk but very little in the way of malt.

Can. Pale gold with a white head. Aroma of passionfruit, mango, citrus blossoms. Light bodied, quite fizzy. Not a lot of malt flavours, so that some of the fruit seems a bit boiled and caramelised. A little resin towards the modestly bitter end.

'Bottle. Gold with a 3/2" white head. Aroma of gooseberry, Meyer lemon, passionfruit, lychee, some crackers and herbal notes. Light bodied, quite highly carbonated. I can see explosivedog''s review and although this bottle is not like that there is a little whisper of slickness there. Mostly though it''s crackery malt with punchy under-ripe tropical fruit, sav-blancy grassiness. Finish is bitter enough but doesn''t quite snap like the best Kiwi examples.'

On tap at 16 Tun. Pours gold orange. Boozy, caramel, strong marzipan, boozy marzipan, amaretto, orange, lemon, sweet boozy. Good body. Very messy, very boozy, but I do like amaretto... The more I drink, the more unbearably hot this is, makes me wince with every sip.
